DISTRIBUTION
The planned account edition uses one Chrome Web Store item. Upgrading to Pro will keep the same extension and local archive.
The existing Windows/Linux ZIP remains the fallback. Customers do not need Node, Python or a locally installed server.

THE DETAILS THAT MATTER
Yes, a compatible signed-in RZone account is needed for real backtests. Vault is an independent research tool, not RZone or Definedge, and its subscription does not include their services.
No. A study contains multiple trials. If you select 5 periods and 2 universes, that is 10 combinations and up to 10 successful runs. The free allowance is 50 successful automatic trials once per verified account.
Your research archive stays in your browser. The account service receives identity, run identifiers/status and billing information, not your strategy settings, trades, charts or research reports. Back up regularly; account login does not synchronise your library between devices.
Renewal stops and funded access continues through the paid period. Existing results remain readable and exportable. Pro reuse and research tools require active paid access; any remaining Community runs are still available.
No. Vault runs research backtests through the RZone page and archives the results. It does not place broker orders. Historical performance and a research ranking do not establish future returns.
Rankings depend on the chosen metric and test conditions. Match dates, universe, sizing and execution assumptions. Use fresh periods and nearby settings to assess a candidate rather than treating one result as a conclusion.

These sections are drafts. Operator identity, public support contact and refund terms must be finalized before checkout opens.
Local research data includes strategy inputs, studies, reports, trades, charts and notes. You control downloaded backups. Removing an extension may remove its local archive. The account service keeps your verified email, user identifier, quota receipts and subscription/payment references to provide login, free-run limits and Pro access. Supabase handles identity and database storage; Razorpay handles hosted payment details. Vault does not receive your card or bank credentials.
This preview has no analytics, email collection or checkout. Account-data retention and deletion requests will use the operator's published support channel, which is not yet configured. Deleting an account is separate from cancelling renewal and does not erase downloaded backups or local browser records. Required billing retention will be stated in the final policy.
The planned Pro subscription is ₹899/month. Cancellation is available from the account panel and stops renewal while retaining the funded period. Payment is through hosted Razorpay checkout after final merchant activation. Refund eligibility, taxes, invoicing and duplicate-charge support must be finalized by the operator before payments are accepted. This preview cannot take payment or create a subscription.
Vault assists research; it does not provide personalized investment advice, guarantee returns or execute live orders. Source availability, supported combinations and your source-service access affect what can run. A new Store installation has separate browser storage, so archive migration requires backup and import. Public operator/support details and service terms are pending launch setup.
